Ever considered recording your own audiobook?
In the last year or so we have noticed a steady increase in audiobook production enquiries from authors. Traditionally, our main audio book enquiries came from publishers or businesses creating an audiobook for sale to their clients. However, there seem to be more self-penned authors around nowadays and many of them are keen to have an audio version to accompany their lovingly produced paperback.
While we would love to work with many of these passionate authors the cost for professional voicing and editing are often prohibitively expensive when you consider that a lot of the book projects are often more of a hobby than a business for many independent writers.
To help authors and writers on a low budget we have produced an article that is a how-to for those considering an audio book production. It explores the merits of self-recording and provides tuition on how to achieve this.
Here it is Recording Your Own Audiobook
