Our developer, Simon has been really busy creating our brilliant new audio player. It is HTML5 and is much quicker and slicker than its Flash predecessor. It also has some great new functionality.
The first big change you will see is in the search results. Each result has a small waveform display next to the track information.
Click on the play icon and the audio starts playing in a pop-up player at the bottom of the browser.
The great thing about this player is that is spans across the bottom of the screen, giving you a full view of the waveform and it also remembers what you have played.
By clicking the small arrow icon next to ‘My Listening History’ you get a scrollable list of all of the tracks and sound effects you have played.
In addition, you can drag your cursor over the waveform to replay any section of the audio track. Useful for jumping ahead or going back to a previous point in the audio, especially for long tracks.
That’s a quick overview of the new audio player on Media Music Now. We hope you like it and feel free to test it out in our royalty free music or sound effects section.
