A big part of running an online business is being accessible in the search engines for your key terms. No matter what terms you try to target there are always ones that bring you new and interesting requests.
A number of times now we have been asked to produce an audio book in the style of a radio play.
From an audio production point of view this is a very interesting thing to be involved in as it requires creativity and technical know-how. But, it is very time intensive and as a result quite an investment for the client and most people shy away from the development cost.
Most people opt for the lesser cost of an audio book narration. That is until, Tales4All…
Tales4All is an independent book publisher passionate about their products and have invested time and money into producing the very best product they can. In recent weeks, they commissioned Media Music Now to record and produce their first Children’s audio book ‘The Treebobs and the Dizzy Broomsticks’. Personally, I am delighted with the result.
The characters were brought to life by the talents of Lindsay Abbott and I was given a free rein with the music and sound effects. Actually, the story conjured up so much imagery finding ideas for which sounds to use was relatively easy. The Treebobs audio books are available to purchase at Audible.com.
Please listen to the short sample below and tell your friends to buy this audio book (even if they don’t have children).
Hi Pete, haven’t spoken with you in ages! Thank you for your kind words. We’ve now completed and produced the second audiobook in the series, The Treebobs and the Runaway Cauldron, which is also out now. This one added a whole host of new characters too!
Great work Lindsay! Really enjoyed your mix of character voices.
this project sounds fun from a recording, sound FX & soundtrack perspective 🙂
Hi Lee
Yes, from a voice over’s perspective it’s been a great experience to get my teeth into a project with excellent production values, and the scope to develop and bring the author Declan Harney’s characters to life, including the various bits of ‘business’ that all went into the production mix, in addition to the narration. Looking forward to the next in the series!
